ooking
to hire a good salesperson? Are you one of the many
companies that have looked to recruiters when trying to find
these new employees? Recruiters can be attractive because they
are capable of getting a large number of experienced
candidates in front of you quickly. But what happens if you
interview all of these candidates only to discover that none
of them is what you are looking for. How much valuable time
have you wasted? Unfortunately, because many recruiter's are
paid at least in part by commission they may be more concerned
about getting a lot of candidates in to you quickly so that
they can be paid instead of taking the time to find you the
best candidate. Consequently, the focus is often on their
bottom-line - not yours!
By using a
recruiter you have already made the decision to pay someone
else to help you in your search for a good salesperson. Why
not pay for quality versus quantity? Here at Sogistics,
we have learned that what people say they do and what they
actually do can be two very different things. With this in
mind, we use a process that focuses on what the person
actually does. For example, one thing we concentrate on is the
person's achievement. We also ask you to rethink the
requirements you feel are necessary for success in sales, such
as a college degree or general intelligence (I.Q.). Our
research indicates both these factors have little correlation
to top sales performance.
At Sogistics we
focus on assessing the candidate throughout the hiring
process. As a result, we take care of the whole process from
writing and posting the job ad, reviewing the resumes,
performing phone screens, administering tests, and conducting
behavioral based interviews. Instead of sending you every
candidate we come across, we will save you time by sending
over only those few candidates who meet not only your
standards, but ours as well. And, since we bill by the hour,
we only charge you for the time we spend on your project, an
amount that can be considerably less than the $15,000-20,000
plus that you might pay out to recruiters.
