| What is a
Verification Interview? |
 |
A Sogistics
Verification Interview is an in-depth interview
with your candidate to determine job compatibility,
chemistry, or "fit." Sogistics Corporation has
developed a proprietary method of discerning whether
candidates possess the threshold competencies (basic
requirements needed) and differentiating competencies (what
separates the top from the marginal performers) to do the
job effectively. In addition to analyzing behavior, the
process also examines their talents, aptitudes, and thinking
style.
| What feedback
would I receive? |
 |
Following the
interview, we provide clients with an objective,
professional, third party candidate analysis. We give
clients a write-up that provides a condensed summary of the
candidate's strengths as well as our concerns and
recommendations. Because we also test each candidate on
his/her personality, common sense, reasoning, organization,
planning ability, and other traits, our clients also get the
test results which give them far greater insight into the
candidate's potential.
| Why would I
consider a Verification Interview? |
 |
Interviewing
salespeople is an extremely difficult competency. Many
managers lack the time, experience, and specific knowledge
that are needed to consistently hire top salespeople. They
may need to do so only once or twice each year. Many
managers have had poor or unpredictable results in the past
when hiring salespeople because they do not know which
specific behaviors separate the best sales performers from
the rest.
At
Sogistics, we interview salespeople every day. We are
experts at selecting top performing salespeople for our
clients. We know what behaviors to look for in candidates
and what questions to ask. We also spot the pitfalls and
avoid falling in them. Upon completion of the interview, we
can tell our clients how well the candidate fits their needs
with a high degree of accuracy.
| What results can
I expect? |
 |
With the help
of our Verification Interview service, our clients avoid
making costly hiring mistakes. We help them find the ideal
candidates for their needs, which results is dramatically
lower turnover and dramatically higher sales growth.
Consider the numerous costs of a poor sales hire. Companies
lose the salary, commission, training, and benefits that
they invested in the salesperson. Even more substantial,
they lose valuable customers and priceless market
opportunities. It is painful and it happens too often.
| Does it have to
be done in person? |
 |
No. It can
also be done over the phone. In fact, it may be beneficial
to do it over the phone. Telephone interviews are more
impartial because candidates are only evaluated on the
content, or substance, of their responses. The candidates'
physical appearance and style are non-factors.
